Prober Product Lineup
In the prober business, Taiyo Techonolex (Thailand) has enabled contact with narrow pitched pins, which was difficult using conventional probes, by using FPC bumps (contact projections formed on flexible printed circuitry lines). They can check highly dense pins commonly found with color LCDs for cell phones. Moreover, compared to test jigs that use pin probes, the bumps are more compact and are easier to handle as bump FPC can be changed out with little work.
Bump FPCs have a durability of over 300,000 test cycles (according to internal data) and can be easily changed out to flexibly meet inspection demands for the slew of prototypes that are developed. Taiyo Techonolex (Thailand) offers probers to meet the pitch, number of pins and pin positions. TMPF-300-100 (General-purpose simplified type)
Simplified prober for up to 300µm of pitch and 100 pins. Can be widely used for contact with pins of LCD panels and FPCs.

TMPF-160-256 (For small LCD panels)
Prober for small panels (up to 2 inches), pitch more than 160µm and up to 256 pins. Can be widely used for testing the lighting of LCD or organic EL panels.

TMPB-60-512 (For 60µm pitch/512 terminal type)
Prober for small panels (up to 3.5 inches), pitch more than 60µm and up to 512 pins. It can be used for testing the panels with contact pins on the plane opposite to the display panel.

Prober for small panels (up to 3.5 inches), pitch more than 60µm and up to 512 pins. It can be used for testing the panels with contact pins on the same plane as the display panel.

TMPBF-65-960 (For LCD panels/2-side contact type)
Prober for testing the lighting of STN LC panels. Air cylinder-driven, it makes contact with pins on two sides that are not on the same plane.
